For this project, several murals were created inside Poppodium Volt: the toilet doors, dressing rooms for artists, and in the Poppodium cafe.
For Poppodium Volt, I created a series of murals on the restroom doors, in the artists’ dressing rooms, and the café, with the aim of making everyone feel welcome, seen, and free.
The designs focus on inclusivity and diversity.
The paintings on the restroom doors break through traditional boxes and show that restrooms are a place for everyone, regardless of gender identity, sex, or background. Through art, an open and inviting atmosphere is created that fits the values of a modern music venue.
In addition to functional signage, the murals give the space its own character and contribute to the overall experience of a night out. They show how art can not only beautify a space, but also convey a unifying message.
