This mural was created in collaboration with my mother, Reggy Bruine de Bruin. The project was made possible thanks to Stichting Getting Up, Sparkle Up Your Mind, and Brasserie Mijn Streek.
The front facade with the portraits is approximately 13 meters wide and 9 meters high and is painted at a height of 30 meters.

This mural was created to raise awareness for Sparkle Up Your Mind, a foundation that raises funds for research into the cure for metastatic breast cancer.
The mural presents a portrait of Lianne, the founder of the foundation. With her tremendous dedication and positivity, she managed to inspire many people and raise awareness for this important mission. Sadly, Lianne passed away in 2020 due to this devastating disease. Through this artwork, her story remains visible and her message lives on.
It was a special project to work on, where art not only beautifies a space, but also tells a story, creates awareness, and connects people with each other.
This mural is most visible at Brasserie Mijn Streek, at the top of the Schunck building, in the heart of Heerlen.
