For the Grotius College, Reggy Bruine de Bruin and I, together with the students, realized a special art project in which three locker blocks were transformed into one continuous artwork.
The central theme of the project was growth. The three murals together form a triptych that connects the different locker blocks with each other.
The project started with developing designs, which were then applied to the lockers as line drawings. Under supervision, the students themselves painted a large part of the mural. Afterwards, we carefully finished all the details, giving the whole a durable and professional appearance.
The design leaves space for greenery. Plants on top of the lockers visually connect with the painted elements, allowing art and nature to blend together naturally and giving the corridors a fresh, vibrant look.
By working together on one collective artwork, a lasting memory was created in which creativity, collaboration, and personal growth are central.
